This Privacy Policy explains what information YardWyre ("YardWyre," "we," "us") collects when you use our software (the "Service"), how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information We Collect

Account & business information: your name, business name, email, phone number, and login credentials when you sign up or we set up your account.

Inventory data: to provide the Service, YardWyre connects to your own Hollander/Powerlink AIM inventory database (hosted by you) to read parts inventory, pricing, photos, and vehicle fitment data. This connection is established over a private network tunnel and credentials are encrypted at rest.

eBay account data: when you connect an eBay seller account, we store an encrypted OAuth refresh token and the business policy IDs you configure. We use this solely to publish/update listings and retrieve order information on your behalf, as authorized by you.

Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., publishing listings, syncing orders, generating sales reports).
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, or service changes.
• To generate AI-assisted listing titles using a third-party AI provider (see Section 3) — only the specific part details needed for the title are sent, never your full database.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data only as needed to operate the Service:

• eBay Inc. — to publish/manage listings and retrieve orders via eBay's official APIs, under your authorization.
• Anthropic — to generate optional AI-assisted listing titles; only part details you choose to submit are sent, not your full inventory or customer data.
• Infrastructure providers (e.g., our cloud hosting provider) — to run the Service. These providers do not have independent access to use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of stored credentials (database passwords, eBay tokens), TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, private network tunnels for database connections, and access controls limiting who can view tenant data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and inventory-sync data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us; some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records (e.g., billing history).

6. Your Choices

You may disconnect your eBay account at any time from within the Service. You may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your account information by contacting us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
